Einhausen is a small town with a big heart. Einhausen lies in the German federal state of Hesse (or Hessen in German), between Frankfurt and Heidelberg near the Rhine River. This region is dotted with vineyards and castles and has a history dating back to the 8th century. Approximately 8,000 people live in Einhausen and while the town might not be very large, its citizens are very active in over 30 clubs and organizations.

The Rooster ("Giggel") that greets you at the entryway to the town is actually a gift from SESCA! It found its home at the entry of their city after a long customs process. The townspeople held a special festival in honor of the new mascot, and a few members from our board were able to attend the special event in April 2014. It was quoted in their local newspaper:

"This was a grand celebration for a grand friendship!"
