Einhausen lies in the German federal
state of Hesse (or Hessen, in German), between Frankfurt
and Heidelberg, near the Rhine River on the "Bergstrasse"
or mountain road.This region is dotted with vineyards and castles
and has a history dating back to the 8th century.
Approximately 8,000 people live in
Einhausen and while the town might not be very large, its citizens
