City of Einhausen



Einhausen lies in the German federal state of Hesse (or Hessen in German), between Frankfurt and Heidelberg near the Rhine River on the "Bergstrasse" or mountain road.  This region is dotted with vineyards and castles and has a history dating back to the 8th century.  Approximately 8,000 people live in Einhausen and while the town might not be very large, its citizens are very active in over 30 clubs and organizations.

Einhausen is a small town with a big heart.  There is a school up to the 5th grade, a swimming pool, fire department, two banks, shops and restaurants, a small zoo, a retirement home, two churches (one Catholic and one Protestant) and a courthouse. 

Einhausen is home to over 30 clubs and organizations, including:

  • Verein für Behindertenhilfe e.V. (Club for the Disabled)

City of Shoreview

Shoreview is located 10 minutes north of Minnesota's state capital, St. Paul.  Approximately 25,000 people live in this area, renowned for its lakes and bike trail systems.  Shoreview is also home to many descendants of German immigrants.
