Director Elections will take place at the annual meeting on Monday March 5, 2012, in the lower level conference room at Shoreview City Hall.   One current board member is retiring, and there are five director spots open.  Please consider joining the Board!  Directors volunteer to serve three year terms.

Board of Directors Application

Qualifications:
Directors must be members of the Shoreview-Einhausen Sister City Association (SESCA) in good standing and continue to be participating members during their term of office.  Directors will have a desire and willingness to help the residents of Shoreview and Einhausen improve knowledge and consciousness of each other and understand each other as individuals, members of their communities, citizens of their countries and as a part of a family of nations.

Application:
Please include a brief candidate statement outlining your qualifications, vision for SESCA and how you would anticipate being involved during your term.

Applications should be emailed to: sistercity@sesca.org by February 29, 2012.
Or via mail to:  Bill Kiehnbaum, 4348 Nancy Place, Shoreview, MN  55126

Members of the Board of Directors are elected by democratic process.  Each member maintains his/her seat on the Board for a two- or three-year period.  Board members meet once a month to discuss finance, organizational growth and upcoming events and exchange ideas.

Our goal is to promote personal relationships between Germans and Americans and expose residents of the greater Shoreview area and beyond to German cultural heritage and modern ideas.sistercity@sesca.org
