city organization uniting people from Shoreview, MN, U.S.A., and
Einhausen, Hesse, Germany.
Our mission
isto promote friendship and international goodwill
by creating opportunities for all citizens of the greater Shoreview
area to experience the German culture through a variety of social,
educational, economic, municipal and cultural activities, with an
emphasis on exchanges and personal interactions with the people
of Einhausen, Germany.

Monthly Meeting:July 13 at 7:00pm at Shoreview City Hall, lower level
Everyone
is welcome at the SESCA monthly meeting! The Board of Directors
and members plan and discuss upcoming events, budgets and other
items. We encourage you to participate and share your thoughts and
ideas about our organization.
There will be an open forum at the
beginning of the meeting for public and member comments and suggestions.
We
want to hear from you! Please join us to discuss upcoming events
and future possibilities!
Visitors
from Einhausn: July 23 - August 3, 2009
Visitors from
our sister city in Einhausen will be touring Minnesota this summer
and will be staying with host families for a portion of their trip.
They will participate in the annual Slice of Shoreview SESCA booth,
tour northern Minnesota and take a dinner cruise and visit a casino.

On Sunday,
July 26, 2009, SESCA is hosting a welcome dinner for our Einhausen
guests. This event is open to the public and will be held at Ideal

DINNER CRUISE
On Sunday,
August 2, 2009, please join our guests from the Einhausen area of
Germany for a Sunset Dinner Cruise on the Mississippi River aboard
the Anson Northrup paddleboat, one of the Padelford Riverboats.
